Port facilities in Odesa region again massively attacked

Russians again massively attacked Odesa region with strike drones. Port infrastructure was under attack, — Head of Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper and Association of Seaports of Ukraine.

“Despite the active work of air defense, damage to port facilities was recorded. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The fires that arose were promptly extinguished. Work to eliminate the consequences is ongoing,” — Oleg Kiper.

As reported by the Association of Seaports of Ukraine, during the air alert, a UAV hit and fell, which caused local fires and damage to production and warehouse facilities. A hit in the hold of a cargo ship with subsequent ignition was also recorded.

The fires are being quickly localized by fire protection forces and the State Emergency Service. All necessary services are working on the ground. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. The data is being clarified.
