20 hours under attack: 6 dead and 47 wounded in Dnipro after massive attack

On April 25, Dnipro experienced one of the most massive attacks in the entire time of the full-scale war. The Russians struck in waves – with missiles and drones – for more than 20 hours. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.

He noted that the Russian troops targeted residential areas. As a result of the attack, 6 people were killed, another 47 were wounded. Two of the injured are in serious condition.

“They hit with missiles and drones. They hit targeted. They hit residential areas. They killed 6 people, wounded – 47. Two of the injured are “severe”, – said the official.

According to him, as a result of the attack, housing was damaged, buildings were destroyed, cars burned down.

“People lost their homes. People lost their relatives. This is deliberate terror. This is a crime against people,” the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration wrote.

All emergency services have been working at the sites of the hits since night. Also, according to the head of the region, Dnipro will receive assistance from the government. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced the allocation of funds from the state budget to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

An assessment of the extent of the destruction is currently underway.
