
Drone attacks by Russian troops in Sumy region killed two civilians from one of the border villages, and in Chernihiv, a strike drone exploded near a high-rise building
The Russians killed two people in Sumy region on April 25. In the Bilopol community, civilians died as a result of a strike by a Russian drone. The deceased were 48 and 72 years old.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov. According to him, another terrorist attack by the Russian Federation occurred in a settlement located less than five kilometers from the border with the Russians.
“Unfortunately, two civilian residents of Sumy region were killed as a result of a Russian drone attack. They are a 48-year-old and a 72-year-old man. The Russians struck civilians in the territory of the Bilopol community – near one of the settlements, less than 5 km from the state border with the Russian Federation. Any trips to these territories pose a direct threat to life,” he wrote.
The Russians also targeted Chernihiv. There, UAVs attacked civilian objects and residential buildings, said the head of the Chernihiv city military administration, Dmitry Bryzhinsky. According to him, one of the Russian “shaheeds” exploded near a multi-storey residential building. Fires also broke out in the private residential sector after the Russian attacks.
“As a result of the night attack on the city, the following were damaged: private houses, windows in multi-storey buildings, destroyed warehouses, cars were destroyed by fire,” he noted.
