Kyiv has released details of the consequences of the daytime attack by drones on April 28. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, falling debris was recorded in several areas of the city at once.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the debris of the UAV hit an unfinished building: the facade was damaged, the roof covering was partially destroyed (an area of about 1 sq. m), and two fire centers arose.
Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires, preventing them from spreading.
In the Solomyanskyi district, the debris of the drone fell on the territory of a cemetery. As a result, garbage caught fire on an area of about 5 sq. m.
The fire was also quickly extinguished. There are victims. Earlier, the city authorities reported on the victims.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a man was hospitalized after an incident when he was hit by a car due to an explosion and falling debris.
In Solomyanskyi district, another victim was provided with assistance on the spot.
According to rescuers, all sources of ignition have been eliminated, and emergency services worked promptly.
At the same time, such incidents once again demonstrate the risks even after successful air defense work – the fragments of downed drones can cause fires, destruction and injury to people.
