
On the evening of May 2, Russian forces launched a strike with drones on Balakliya in the Kharkiv region. Three people were injured as a result of the shelling.

As a result of the attack, shopping arcades, a kiosk and cars were damaged. An hour later, Russian troops used a drone again: one of the retail facilities was destroyed and caught fire.
“The fire of 100 sq m was extinguished by the forces of the State Emergency Service units. 15 rescuers and 3 units of State Emergency Service equipment were working at the scene,” the report says.
On the morning of May 2, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv with drones. One of the UAVs hit a high-rise building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city; as a result, one person was injured.
During the day of May 2, the Russian army also attacked gas stations in four districts of Kharkiv with drones.
