The Russian Federation has tightened control over Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories who fall into the Russian adoption and guardianship system.
This was announced by the founder and CEO of Save Ukraine Mykola Kuleba during the Civil Society and Expert Day event.
“The entire policy of Russia has changed to the fact that every child must be under control. Especially children who fall into the “orphanage system” of Russia. They immediately disappear from social networks, they simply disappear,” he said.
Mykola Kuleba noted that the return of Ukrainian children from Russian adoptive families is now becoming increasingly difficult.
“This is a very serious threat to children whose parents are arrested, killed,” he added.
