The Russian strike on May 5 took the lives of people who took care of the daily delivery of products to their homes. This is an irreparable loss. We bow our heads in grief together with the relatives of the deceased, the company noted.
VARUS has not disclosed the number of dead people yet. However, the co-owner of the chain, Ruslan Shostak, reported that there are also injured people who are in serious condition.
This night has become the most difficult for employees, for all of us… The worst thing is that people have died, some are in serious condition in the hospital, Shostak added.
He promised to make the details public later.
The company noted that the Russian shelling caused significant damage. As a result, VARUS stores may experience delays in deliveries and product range restrictions.
However, the chain is already working to restore full-fledged deliveries.
