Seven civilians suffered in Kherson region during the day from the consequences of Russian aggression

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office of the Kherson region, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on May 7, 2026, the Russian army hit the Kherson region with artillery, mortars and drones of various types.

As of 17:30, it was recorded that seven civilians suffered from the consequences of Russian aggression.

In the morning, a local resident was injured due to artillery shelling in Komyshany.

Also, during the day, the Russians attacked civilian cars using FPV drones in Komyshany, Zelenivka and Kherson – a total of six people received injuries of varying degrees.

In addition, private and apartment buildings, pharmacy premises, and cars were damaged.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to record the consequences of the shelling and document war crimes committed by Russian armed forces.
