Shattered facades, broken windows and burnt cars: what the site of the Russian drone strike in the Dnipro looks like on the night of May 7

On the night of May 7, the Russians attacked the Dnipro with drones. As a result of one of them being hit, three high-rise buildings were damaged. The blast wave broke out more than 130 windows there. The impact caused two cars to catch fire. Unfortunately, two people were injured.

In the morning, rescuers, law enforcement officers, medics, utility workers and charities are working at the scene of the incident. The consequences of the shelling are currently being eliminated, the debris is being removed.

The facades are slashed with debris, and windows in the apartments are broken. Instead of panes, there are now empty holes. The entire yard is covered in small glass, fragments of plastic frames and the remains of a Russian drone. In the yard, there are the frames of two completely burnt cars. The fire that broke out immediately after the explosion left nothing but metal from the cars.

Around 11:00, Russian troops attacked the Dnipro again with missiles. A fire broke out. According to local authorities, the blast wave broke out windows in the shops of a food industry enterprise.

Tents have been set up for people to file claims for damaged property in order to receive further compensation. Residents of damaged houses have been provided with OSB boards to urgently close broken windows. Charitable organizations and volunteers are also providing residents of the affected homes and emergency services with drinks and food.
