
On May 9, Russian drones attacked two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region at once, striking residential communities and civilian infrastructure. As a result of the shelling, a woman died, another elderly woman was injured and is in hospital. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.
The morning in Dnipropetrovsk region again passed to the sounds of explosions and alarms, as the Russian army attacked the region with drones, hitting residential areas and communities where civilians live. Several territories in Nikopol and Synelnyk districts were hit at once.
According to the regional authorities, the attack affected Nikopol, as well as the Myriv and Chervonohryhorivska communities. As a result of the shelling, an apartment building and a lyceum were damaged – objects where ordinary residents were staying, who have no relation to the military infrastructure. “The Russians attacked two districts of the region with drones. The Nikopol, Myrivska and Chervonohryhorivska communities were under attack. An apartment building and a lyceum were damaged. An 87-year-old woman was injured. She was taken to the hospital in moderate condition,” the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration reported.
Separately, the Mezhivska community of the Synelnyk district came under fire. It was there, according to updated data, that a 46-year-old woman died. Her life was cut short as a result of a direct drone strike.
Medics provide assistance to the injured elderly woman, who was hospitalized with moderate injuries. Emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes, recording the aftermath of the attack and documenting the destruction of civilian infrastructure.
The Russians are using the “truce” to regroup at the front.
