Russians attacked Naftogaz facilities in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions

On the afternoon of May 13, Russian troops again attacked the infrastructure of the Naftogaz Group in several regions of Ukraine at once.

This was reported by the Integrated Communications Department of the National Joint-Stock Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.

In the Kharkiv region, a Russian drone damaged one of the gas production assets. A production facility in Zhytomyr region was also hit. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on site.

“Fortunately, there were no casualties – that is the main thing. People’s safety is a priority. “As soon as the security situation allows, we will begin assessing the consequences and the necessary work to restore the damaged infrastructure as soon as possible,” said Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of the National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine.
