Damage to 24 buildings recorded in Smila, and households in Uman region: consequences of the attack on Cherkasy region

The Russians attacked Cherkasy region on May 13. Currently, damage to 24 buildings, a kindergarten and an educational institution in the city of Smila is known. Households were damaged in the Uman district.

This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration Ihor Taburets.

According to him, four people were injured as a result of the Russian attack. Three of them were of moderate severity and one was slightly injured.

According to the head of the regional military administration, an emergency situation liquidation headquarters is currently operating in the Smila community. Applications from victims are being accepted through the heads of the quarter committees.

As of Thursday evening, May 14, damage to 24 residential buildings, a kindergarten and an after-school institution was recorded. Repair and construction teams have been formed.

According to Ihor Taburets, in the Balakleivska community they are working according to the same algorithm. Eight households were inspected there. There, mostly broken windows.

In the Monastyryshchenska community, debris and a blast wave damaged a residential building, as well as two outbuildings. In the Umanska community, households were also damaged. According to the head of the regional military administration, the priority work has been completed.
