
The Sumy regional military administration reported this: “During the day, from the morning of May 16 to the morning of May 17, Russian troops carried out almost 80 attacks on 30 settlements in 21 territorial communities of the region. In the Sumy community, a 46-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Russian drone attack. In the Buryn community, a 55-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were injured as a result of Russian drone strikes,” the report says.
The most shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts. The Russian military hit the region with mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
As a result of the Russian attacks, infrastructure, houses, outbuildings, vehicles, and a shopping center were damaged.
