Strike on Chernihiv region: Russian drones attack gas infrastructure

On the morning of May 19, Russian troops struck another strike on gas infrastructure in Chernihiv region. This is the third day in a row that Naftogaz group production facilities have been targeted by Russian attacks.

As reported by the company’s press service, drones hit several production facilities in Chernihiv region at once. The result of these attacks was direct damage and destruction of the company’s critical technological equipment.

For security reasons, the management immediately evacuated the personnel of one of the attacked enterprises. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries among employees. Currently, specialized specialists and representatives of all relevant emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes. The consequences of Russian terror are being recorded and an accurate assessment of the scale of damage to the infrastructure is underway.
