In Kherson region, a school workshop, houses and vehicles were damaged due to Russian attacks

On May 20, 2026, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region with barrel and rocket artillery, mortar weapons, and drones. As of 17:30, 4 people were injured.

This was reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office.

In the village of Rakivka, two men were injured – a Russian FPV drone hit a milk tanker.

A woman was also injured in a Russian army drone attack in Belozerka.

In Kherson, a man stepped on a mine and was injured.

As a result of Russian strikes, private houses, a school workshop, and vehicles were damaged.

Prosecutors have launched pre-trial investigations into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have fired 700,000 shells at the Kherson region. There are 2,500 drone attacks every week, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration.
