Russians strike Nikopol: one person killed, seven injured, including children

Investigators continue to work at the sites of Russian strikes in Nikopol district. Two children – a three-month-old girl and a 4-year-old boy – were injured in the Russian attacks on May 23

On the morning of May 23, the Russian army sent an FPV drone to the territory of an industrial enterprise in Marganets. A 64-year-old worker was injured when one of the vehicles was hit.

After 15:30, the Russians fired artillery at Nikopol – an elderly man was seriously injured. Unfortunately, he died of his injuries in the hospital.

In the evening, the Russians continued artillery shelling of the district center – residential apartment buildings in one of the city’s sleeping areas were hit. People were at the epicenter of the attack.

A police officer, his three-month-old daughter, a 4-year-old boy, and four other people — men and women aged 31 to 46 — suffered shrapnel wounds.

Some of the injured were evacuated from the scene by the patrol police response unit. One of the victims is in extremely serious condition, the others have acubarotraumas and moderate injuries.
