Drone terror in Kherson region: since the beginning of May, Russians have launched 12 thousand UAVs in the region

Russian troops continue to increase the number of attacks in the Kherson direction. Currently, the greatest danger is posed by Russian UAVs, as the Russians have significantly scaled up the use of drones in the region.

The Russians have significantly increased the number of drone attacks in the Kherson direction. In just less than a month of May, Russian terrorists used more than 12,000 drones to attack the region. This was reported by Pavlo Drogal, spokesman for the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy.

At the same time, he noted that there have been practically no significant changes in the tactics of the Russians (except for the increase in the number of attacks). Thus, thanks to the actions of the Ukrainian defenders, it was possible to influence the use of Russian artillery and aviation.

If we talk about their artillery, we are conducting a very effective counter-battery fight. In just under a month of May, we destroyed 17 Russian artillery installations. Now the greatest danger is posed by strike drones, because the enemy uses them most massively. If we talk about aviation, there are air strikes, but they are no longer as massive as they were before,” Drogal noted.

With their drones, the Russians not only attack civilians, but also remotely mine settlements, including Kherson. The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, previously reported a significant increase in cases of remote mining of the streets of the regional center by the Russians. In addition to increasing the number of mines, the Russians also use various types of them and methods of masking explosives.
