In Sumy region, Russians attacked a playground with a drone, there are wounded

On May 25, Russian troops committed another act of terror against the civilian population of Sumy region, attacking a children’s infrastructure facility. This was reported by the Shostka District Prosecutor’s Office.

The shelling occurred at about 12:00 in the Khutir-Mykhailivska community of the Shostka district.

The Russians purposefully directed an unmanned aerial vehicle at a local playground.

As a result of the explosion of a Russian drone, two local residents were injured. The injured women are 51 and 63 years old, they are provided with necessary medical care.

Prosecutors and investigators of the Shostka District Police Department are working at the scene of the war crime, recording and documenting further evidence of the Russian Federation’s aggression against the civilian population.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into this fact under Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
