The Russians destroyed the warehouse of one of the largest distributors of auto parts: this is the third strike in a year

As a result of the massive Russian attack on May 24, the FIM Service warehouse complex in the village of Chayka, Kyiv region, suffered serious damage. This is reported by Kommersant Ukrainskyi with reference to the State Emergency Service.

After the Russian strike, a large-scale fire broke out at the FIM Service warehouse. Due to the complexity of the fire, rescuers involved special equipment, including fire robots and two rescue helicopters.

According to the State Emergency Service, the area of the fire reached 10,000 sq. m. This is an extremely large-scale fire for a warehouse facility where goods, packaging, pallets, equipment and other materials that spread fire quickly could be stored.

The FIM Service warehouse complex is located in Kyiv region and belongs to large logistics facilities. Its total area is over 27 thousand sq. m. m.

Omega, one of the largest distributors of auto parts in Ukraine, confirmed damage to its Kyiv distribution center.

The company reported that shipments from the Kyiv distribution center have been temporarily suspended due to the consequences of the attack.

In this regard, shipments from the Kyiv distribution center have been temporarily suspended. At the same time, shipments from regional warehouses, as well as tire shipments, are being carried out as usual,” the company noted.

As of May 27, the liquidation of the consequences of the strike and assessment of the situation are ongoing.

The company continues to operate through regional warehouses, but the attack on the Kyiv distribution center was another serious blow to its logistics.

The attack on the warehouse in the Kyiv region was the third strike on the logistics capabilities of Omega in the past year.

The first large-scale strike occurred a year ago — on the night of May 26. Then, as a result of an attack by Russian drones, the company’s Kharkiv logistics center burned down. The facility was reportedly hit by eight strike drones. The attack completely destroyed the roof of the warehouse, and a fire destroyed all the products stored at the facility.

Due to the loss of infrastructure, the company was forced to reduce the capacity and part of the staff of the warehouse in Kharkiv.

The second strike occurred on November 19, 2025, when Russian forces attacked the Lviv distribution center of Omega. Then the fire destroyed the goods and significantly damaged the premises.

The fire destroyed the goods and significantly damaged the premises, posing another major challenge to our team,” the company reported at the time.

After two previous attacks, Omega emphasized that it had not yet fully recovered from the destruction of the Kharkiv distribution center.

We have not yet fully recovered from the destruction of the Kharkiv distribution center. Two attacks this year are a test that tests our strength,” the company noted.

Now, the Kyiv distribution center has been added to Kharkiv and Lviv.

Omega is one of the largest operators of the auto parts market in Ukraine. It works with a wide range of automotive products and has a significant logistics infrastructure.

According to the results of 2025, the company entered the rating of the 200 largest companies in Ukraine according to Forbes. Omega’s annual sales were estimated at approximately UAH 8.2 billion.

That is why attacks on its warehouses are important not only for the company itself. They can affect the supply of auto parts, the work of service stations, retailers, service companies and customers who depend on the stable availability of parts.

The strike on the FIM Service warehouse complex was another example of how Russian attacks affect not only residential buildings or energy facilities, but also civilian business infrastructure.

Logistics warehouses are an important part of the economy. Goods for stores, services, industries and entrepreneurs pass through them. When such facilities are destroyed, businesses lose goods, premises, equipment, logistics chains and time for recovery.

In the case of “Omega”, we are talking about the systemic damage to warehouse facilities in different regions of Ukraine – Kharkiv, Lviv and the Kyiv region.

The FIM Service Class A logistics complex in the Kyiv region was officially put into operation on May 5, 2006.

The complex was built by the FIM Group investment group. At the time of its opening, it was considered the largest professional facility of this class in Ukraine.

The total area of the warehouse complex is 27,240 sq. m. m. After the attack and fire, according to the State Emergency Service, the fire covered about 10,000 sq. m.
