Rescuers removed the bodies of a woman and an 8-year-old boy from the ruins of a four-story building in Dnipro that was damaged by the Russians.
A little later, emergency workers removed the body of a woman from under the rubble of the building. This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.
In Dnipro, 16 people are known to have died from Russian strikes on civilian residential buildings. Two of them are children aged 3 and 8.
There are currently 37 injured, including 4 children. 22 of them remain in hospitals. They have shrapnel wounds, fractures, lacerations and cuts, mine-explosive and acubarotraumas.
A residential area has been almost completely destroyed. Fifty houses have been damaged, with more than 2,000 windows broken.
“93 apartments need to be evacuated due to the night attack in Dnipro,” said Chairman Boris Filatov.
He noted that all municipal services are working.
“We have worked out all the protocols after the arrivals, our city services are doing everything that is needed. From helping rescuers in sorting out the rubble to removing garbage — it’s already dozens of tons.”
Several people are not getting in touch. And these are only those who were reported, and there may be more.
