In Zaporizhzhia, a Russian drone hit an electric locomotive

On June 7, Russian troops carried out another shelling of railway infrastructure, hitting an electric locomotive in Zaporizhzhia with a drone.

This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.

The locomotive crew was in cover during the strike thanks to the work of the monitoring group and the timely evacuation, so no one was injured as a result of the incident.

The department stressed that Russia continues to systematically attack railway facilities, and called for a prompt response to reports of threats and adherence to security algorithms.

Two civilians were killed in a Russian attack on a public transport stop in the village of Balabyne, Zaporizhzhia district. The number of injured has increased to five people.
