On the night of June 8, during the shelling of Kharkiv, a Russian drone hit the roof of Nova Poshta depot No. 5, causing a fire and partial collapse of the structures. This is stated in a Nova Poshta report, reports Economic Truth.
“Employees were not injured, as the depot was not operating at the time of the attack,” the report says.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service and other emergency services are working at the scene, access to the warehouse is limited due to the damaged roof, smoke, and the risk of collapse.
According to preliminary data from the company, there were 363 shipments in the building at the time of the hit, with a total value of about UAH 1 million. Their condition is still being clarified.
Nova Poshta said that it would compensate customers for the declared value of the damaged shipments and would provide details of the compensation.
