The fake “Supreme Court of the “DPR” has issued a verdict in the case of 30-year-old “Azov” soldier Igor Garkush. The Russians accused the man of murdering a civilian resident of Mariupol — for which he was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
According to the materials of the pseudo-court case, this concerns a military separate special forces unit of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” Igor Garkush. It is known from open sources that the 30-year-old man served as the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection group.
The Russians accuse the defender of murder, which he allegedly committed in March 2022. As they claim, the “Azov” soldier was at a combat position in a two-story building. There he saw a man in the window, who was walking to the store, and allegedly immediately opened fire with a machine gun.
The so-called “Supreme Court of the “DPR” found Harkush guilty of “murder committed by an organized group on the grounds of political or ideological hatred” and “cruel treatment of the civilian population in the occupied territory.” He was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
