Russians strike gas stations in Dnipropetrovsk region

On June 8, Russian troops struck two gas stations in the Pavlohrad district of Dnipropetrovsk region, causing large-scale fires and injuring civilians. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.

Rescue teams of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine immediately began work at the sites of the hits, which quickly eliminated all sources of ignition.

According to the operational data of the head of the regional military administration, as a result of this shelling, the technological equipment of one of the gas stations was severely damaged, and the blast wave instantly set several civilian cars on the territory of the complex on fire.

A 62-year-old man was seriously injured during the “arrival”. Ambulance crews urgently hospitalized him to a medical facility in a moderate condition, and doctors are currently providing him with all the necessary qualified assistance.

In parallel, rescuers of the State Emergency Service officially reported on the consequences of Russian attacks on other areas of the region. Statistics indicate significant destruction in residential areas.

As a result of Russian shelling on June 7-8, four areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region were attacked more than 40 times by drones and artillery. One person was killed, ten were injured.

Nikopol. The Russians launched a massive attack on the central part of the city. The explosions significantly damaged an apartment building, a bank branch, and several local shops. Unfortunately, a 49-year-old woman died on the spot from shrapnel wounds, and 4 more people were injured. Firefighters of the State Emergency Service promptly provided the injured with emergency first aid and transported them to the surgical department of the hospital;

Pavlohrad district. Two large gas stations came under direct attack from the Russian Federation. Rescuers completely extinguished the car fire and localized the fuel tank fire, preventing the tanks from exploding. One civilian remains injured.

The ongoing attacks on gas stations in the Dnipropetrovsk region are links in a single chain of attacks aimed at creating an artificial fuel shortage in frontline regions.
