Russia attacked a train station in Sumy region with a “Shaheed”: debris damaged the train

On the morning of June 10, Russian troops carried out another attack in the Sumy region. The infrastructure of the railway station in Sumy was damaged.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, a Russian “Shaheed” drone was shot down over the station building. The drone debris fell on the Sumy – Rakhiv passenger train, which caused the roof of the last car to catch fire.

At the time of the incident, the passengers and the train crew were in shelter, so there were no injuries.

After the consequences were eliminated, the train was allowed to continue its movement, but it is currently running with a delay of about 5 hours. The company notes that they are working to restore the schedule and minimize the backlog.
