Promises of high salaries and benefits: Russians recruit residents of Zaporizhzhia region to join the Rosguard

The Rosguard has intensified its campaign to recruit residents of Zaporizhzhia region to its units. The Russians are focusing on recruiting people to UAV units and are promising high salaries, benefits, and a “stable future.”

The Center for National Resistance reports this.

The Russian authorities continue to exert economic pressure on people: salaries are increasingly being delayed, and employees are fighting for their own money through the courts. In the end, people are faced with a choice: to be left without a means of livelihood or to serve in Russian security forces.

At the same time, promises of service in Russian drone units are often used only as bait. After signing a contract, people can be transferred to combat or assault units.

In fact, Russia uses a scheme of economic coercion in the temporarily occupied territories: first, people are left without normal work and a stable income, and then they offer a contract as the only way to provide for themselves and their families. In this way, the Russians are trying to replenish their own army at the expense of the population of the occupied territories,” the Center for National Resistance reports.
