
On June 11, the Russians struck a locomotive depot in the Sumy region. As a result of the Russian attack, a railway worker died, four more railway workers were injured. The injured were hospitalized with burns. Doctors are currently providing them with medical care.

Ukrzaliznytsia is in contact with doctors and families of the victims.
“We are monitoring the condition of the wounded colleagues and are ready to provide assistance for their treatment and recovery. We express our sincere condolences to the relatives, friends and colleagues of the deceased. Ukrzaliznytsia will provide the family with all necessary assistance and support,” the message says.
Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized that Russia continues to purposefully attack civilian infrastructure and people who ensure the movement of the country every day. Despite the constant threat, railway workers continue to fulfill their duties – evacuating people, ensuring the transportation of goods, and supporting the work of the state.
