On June 14, in the Sumy region, Russians fired on rescuers who were eliminating the consequences of previous Russian strikes.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
They said that the Russians once again launched massive strikes on Putyvl in the Sumy region. Due to the Russian attack, fires broke out in the residential sector: people’s homes, garages, and outbuildings burned.
During the extinguishing, the Russians again hit the place where the rescuers were working. According to the State Emergency Service, the personnel managed to retreat to a safe place – none of the emergency workers were injured.
At the same time, the community rescue officer took an elderly woman to the hospital, whose house was damaged as a result of the attack. She was not injured.
“Despite the constant threat of repeated attacks, all sources of fire have been eliminated,” the State Emergency Service emphasized.
