In Sumy region, a Russian drone attacked a civilian car: one person was killed and one was injured

On the morning of June 13, a Russian drone attacked a civilian vehicle in the Bilopol community in the Sumy region. A woman died as a result of the strike, and another person was injured.

This was reported by the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office.

According to the investigation, the attack occurred at around 07:30. A Russian drone hit a civilian car on the territory of the Bilopol community.

A 64-year-old passenger died as a result of the attack. The 66-year-old driver was injured.

Prosecutors, together with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the shelling. Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy district prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation into the fact of a war crime that caused the death of a person has been launched.

According to police, two people died as a result of Russian attacks in the Shostka community during the day on June 12-13. Another 16 people in Sumy Oblast were injured or traumatized.

In addition, a 63-year-old woman was injured in a drone strike in the Bilopil community.
