This is what the captives tell their family

Since the war started on Feb. 24, 2022, the number of Russian captives caught by Ukraine is catastrophic. Troopers are hungry and badly equipped. They try to shoplift and burgle, because they are given only three-day food rations that are expired.

The true number of captured and killed soldiers is kept back in order to prevent protests and riots among Russians. Corpses are kept in fridges in Belarus and sent home little by little.

Russian president Vladimir Putin as a Commander in Chief receives all the information about casualties of Russian army during the war operation in Ukraine, but Kremlin isn’t allowed to reveal the number of losses. This was reported by the presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to Peskov, the data on casualties can be commented only by Russian Defense Ministry.

Authorities admitted that Russian army had casualties as late as the fourth day of war in Ukraine, but they never mentioned the number. Also, the heads of a few regions mentioned military losses.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyi said on Feb. 28 that there are 4500 dead Russian soldiers in Ukraine. Russian MOD mentioned only that “casualties are multiple times less than neutralized nationalists”.
