Attack on residential areas: the number of victims in Zaporizhzhia has increased rapidly

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, on June 28, Russia carried out a new air attack on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia. Two people were killed and almost two dozen other citizens were injured as a result of the explosions of aerial bombs.

A large-scale rescue operation was launched at the scene.

The Russian airstrike on residential areas of the regional center caused large-scale destruction of buildings. It has now been officially confirmed that 17 citizens received injuries of varying severity as a result of the Russian terrorist actions. The death of two people whose lives were taken by the Russian attack has been confirmed.

Rescue units immediately began search operations and dismantling the rubble of destroyed structures. Special equipment and a significant number of personnel were involved in the work, who cleared the destroyed buildings.
