Buildings of the National Academy of Sciences in Kyiv damaged as a result of Russian shelling

On the night of July 2, during an intensive offensive by Russian military forces in Kyiv, the facilities of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine came under aimed fire. This attack posed a danger to scientific institutions and infrastructure associated with the academy.
