On the night of July 5, the Russians hit Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs: a child was among the victims, a wall of a high-rise building was destroyed

According to the report of the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Ivan Fedorov, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhia city council Regina Kharchenko and the Zaporizhzhia regional prosecutor’s office. On July 4, at about 23:00, the Russians again attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. As of 08:00 on July 5, three people were injured, including a 14-year-old boy.

As a result of the shelling, the wall of a high-rise building from the 1st to the 5th floor in the Khortytskyi district was destroyed, neighboring houses and cars parked nearby were damaged. In addition, an industrial facility was damaged.

An investigation has been launched into the fact of committing a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In total, 42 residential buildings in the Voznesenivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Dniprovskyi, Kosmichnyi and Khortytskyi districts of Zaporizhzhia were damaged after the Russian attacks on July 4: 7 apartment buildings and 35 private houses, as well as non-residential buildings.

The blast wave damaged windows, balconies, and roofs. Work to eliminate the consequences is ongoing.

The number of injured as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, which occurred on the afternoon of July 4, increased to seven. Cars burned, a historic school building and houses were damaged.
