“The Supreme Court of the DPR has sentenced Mariupol resident Viktoria Maksymenko to 13 years in prison, finding her guilty of high treason,” the press service of the so-called “Russian Federal Security Service for the DPR” said in a statement.
According to the version of “republican justice”, the girl established contact with representatives of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine via the Telegram messenger and, on their instructions, collected and transmitted information about the locations of Rosgvardia units in Mariupol.
Viktoria Maksymenko was “sentenced” under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“High Treason”).
As reported, the Russian security forces in the occupied Donbas regularly report the detention of “residents of the DPR and LPR” on charges of “espionage”, “terrorist activities” and “high treason”.
