Three people killed and 12 injured in Russian attacks on Kherson region

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on July 8, 2026, the Russian army attacked settlements in the Kherson region with barrel artillery, mortar weapons, and drones of various types, resulting in deaths and injuries.

As of 17:30, it was recorded that three people died and 12 were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.

It is noted that two men aged 72 and 53 and a 72-year-old woman died in Kherson due to drone attacks.

Also, 12 more citizens were injured in the regional center by Russian UAVs – the Russians directed drones into transport, at street intersections, and in buildings.

It is reported that private houses, shuttle and passenger vehicles were damaged.
