Russian attack on Poltava region: woman killed, injured and destroyed

Russian troops attacked the Hadyatsky community with drones. The strikes damaged private homes and a production facility, three people were injured, one of them died in hospital.

On Monday, July 13, the Myrhorod district of Poltava region was subjected to another attack by Russian troops. The Russians used strike drones, targeting the civilian infrastructure of the region.

According to a report to the Main Directorate of the National Police of Poltava region, the territory of the Hadyatsky community was under attack. One of the Russian UAVs hit the territory of a private household. As a result of the explosion, a fire broke out in the outbuilding, which was promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service units.

In total, three local residents were injured as a result of the attack. Medics immediately began fighting for their lives, but one of them stopped breathing. As reported by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Dyakivnych, a 73-year-old woman died in the hospital from severe injuries.

One person died in the hospital from injuries received. Two more people — a 66-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man — were injured. They are currently hospitalized and are under the supervision of doctors.

In addition to human casualties, the attack caused significant destruction. According to law enforcement officials, at least five private households were damaged by the blast wave and debris. Another drone also attacked the territory of the agricultural sector, hitting an unused production facility. Fortunately, there were no casualties there.

All specialized services, rescuers, and the police investigative and operational group worked at the sites of the hits throughout the day, recording the next war crimes of the aggressor against the civilian population of the Poltava region.
