Russian army shelled Odesa region: one dead and one wounded

On the afternoon of July 14, the Russian military launched a missile strike on residential areas in the Odesa region, killing a 69-year-old woman and injuring a 44-year-old man.

According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on the afternoon of July 14, the Russian armed forces launched two missiles at residential areas in the Odesa region. A 69-year-old woman died on the spot from the Russian attack. A 44-year-old man was also injured and taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds.

As a result of the attack, two residential buildings were destroyed, and the glazing, roof, facades and fences of three more private homes were damaged.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
