Belarus suddenly announced that an attack from Ukraine is no longer being prepared
The head of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense also stated that NATO countries also have no intention of attacking the republic.
The military-political situation around Belarus remains calm. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Khrenin, answering questions from journalists.
“Monitoring the activities of the armed forces of NATO countries, we do not see significant activity. A minimum number of exercises are being conducted in neighboring countries – just one thing, a minimum number of flights. Therefore, we believe that the situation is stable, and we do not see any threat, tension, or preparations for a sudden attack,” said Viktor Khrenin.
The Minister of Defense of Belarus also stated that there is no threat from Ukraine to his country. According to him, Belarus does not see any signs of preparation for aggressive actions.
“Today we do not see any preparations for any aggressive actions by the Ukrainian formations that provide cover for their border. Despite the fact that whatever is said in the information space, they do not need tension on our border,” added Viktor Khrenin.
