
On the night of July 21, Russian drones attacked Sumy and destroyed a shopping mall in the city.
Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine quickly arrived at the scene of the attack and were ready to immediately begin extinguishing the large-scale fire. However, Russian troops launched repeated strikes, deliberately hindering the work of rescuers.
Whenever there was even the slightest opportunity, emergency workers, despite the danger, again took up extinguishing the fire.
During another Russian attack, a fire and rescue vehicle was destroyed, another vehicle was damaged. According to available information, the rescuers were not injured.
