The occupiers do not provide local residents with either humanitarian or medical aid, and the exit from the cities to the territory controlled by Ukraine is blocked for everyone without exception, claims Ivan Fedorov.
During the last two months, the Russian occupiers continue to hold captive the residents of the temporarily occupied territories in the south and east of Ukraine. This was announced by the chairman of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
In this way, Russia turned the occupied territory of Ukraine into the largest “prison” in Europe.
“For two months now, the Rashists have been holding the residents of the temporarily occupied territories captive. Having closed people’s exit to the Ukrainian-controlled territory through the checkpoint in Vasylivka, the enemy has deliberately turned life in the captured settlements into a reservation,” says Ivan Fedorov.
Thousands of people in these lands need medicine and medical care, but they are cut off from it and cannot visit specialists because of the regime that has been introduced in settlements under occupation. In addition, some residents of cities and towns cannot receive humanitarian aid – neither children nor the elderly.
“Part of the territory of 4 oblasts has actually turned into the largest “prison” in Europe,” continued Ivan Fedorov.
He called on the residents of the occupied territories to leave the cities by alternative routes if possible, because in the future the Russian occupiers can only increase repression.
On February 13, Ivan Fedorov announced that a thousand “Wagnerians” had come to Melitopol. According to his information, there was a rotation of occupiers who were preparing for a major offensive. A similar situation occurred with equipment, the number of which increased throughout the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Russian Federation is strengthening its positions along the entire front line, but Melitopol is too important for the occupiers as a logistics hub, so the Armed Forces of Ukraine are likely to attack there.
The occupiers began to dismantle the children’s hospital in Melitopol in order to build defensive fortifications
The unfinished children’s hospital is located in Melitopol on Brive-la-Gaillard Street. It is located just opposite the military hospital of the Rashists, for which they adapted the building of the former children’s sanatorium.
The other day, the occupiers began to dismantle the building. They load concrete blocks into KamAZ trucks and take them outside the city, using them to build fortifications on the defense line.
They cover the dugouts with them, masking the top with earth.
In occupied Melitopol, mass searches are taking place in garage cooperatives. The goal is to find partisans who, on the conviction of the occupiers, are necessarily hiding in garages.
If the owner of the building left the city or simply did not have time to come to the mass demolition, the rascals knock down the locks with sledgehammers.
All searches, of course, are recorded on camera, so that later a report on their stormy activities can be posted on propaganda Telegram channels. This is how the occupiers are trying to show their Moscow curators that they eat their bread for good reason on a business trip to Melitopol.
The main administration of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region documented on Tuesday 19 reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure objects by shelling from the Russian occupiers in the Orihiv and Gulyaipil united territorial communities of the Pologiv district and in the Vasyliv district of the Zaporizhzhia region, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, Anatoliy Kurtev, said.
“In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, the enemy, as before, focuses on shelling the positions of our units and settlements along the contact line. In particular, during the past day, the Rashisti shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders with tank weapons, rocket and barrel artillery 103 times. For all cynical and vile actions courageous Ukrainian soldiers give a worthy answer to Putin’s criminals,” Kurtev wrote.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 20 settlements were affected by fire. Among them are Olhivske, Malynivka, Staroukrainka, Gulyaipilske, Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv, Novoandriivka and Stepove of the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy also carried out airstrikes near Malynyvka and Novodanilivka. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the war correspondent Bohdan Miroshnikov, in the Zaporizhzhia region, fighting continues mainly in the gray zone. The intensity of art duels has increased.
“The Orcs are not yet very willing to attack en masse, as they did 2 weeks ago – the condition of their units is not the best. But later, of course, they will storm again. Ours are ready,” Bohdan Miroshnikov wrote.
In 2022, about a million people were taken out of the occupation by railway wagons and hundreds of trucks.
At the same time, they either simply robbed the farmers or forced them to sell their crops for nothing. Now, in the propagandist Russian mass media, they pretend to be benefactors and glorify the terrorist state “nursery Russia”.
“3.5 tons of grain and the same amount of sugar for the production of “social” bread were brought to the bread factory of the Vasyliv district. In addition, they invented the story of the long road of “humanitarian cargo” all the way from the Krasnodar Territory through Rostov.
But the Armed Forces of Ukraine constantly proves that whoever robs the fertile Ukrainian land will become an excellent fertilizer for it, – notes Ivan Fedorov.
Sidor Bely was buried by the Cossacks in 1788. On the Kinburn spit, the Russian occupiers dug up an 18th-century tombstone under which Sydir Belyy, a Zaporizhian foreman, basket chieftain of the Black Sea Cossack Army, commander of the Black Sea Cossack Flotilla, head of the Kherson County in 1785-1787, was buried. A few days ago, headlines appeared in the Russian mass media that a “rescued” tombstone was being brought to Krasnodar.
In 1788, the Cossacks buried Sydor Bely, according to the old Zaporizhzhya custom – under cannon fire – in the Alexander Church of the Kinburn Fortress. However, together with the fortress and the Alexander Church, his grave was destroyed during the Crimean War. That is why later a symbolic monument to the basket chieftain was erected on Kinburni.
Now the Russians dug up the plate and decided to steal it.
“Unlike our opponent, who lost his culture, conscience and memory a long time ago, we do not care that here, on the Kinburn spit, our property is located, our sacred places of military, Cossack glory. Shells are constantly flying here, everything is bombed, but by some miracle the plate survived. It is necessary to urgently evacuate it until the situation here on the spit stabilizes in all respects. Then we will return all the historical monuments to their places!”, – one of the occupiers, who destroy the unique nature of Kinburn every day for many months, is quoted by rossMI.
Ilya Zelinskyi, the leader of the public formation “Buzky Guard”, who is currently serving in the Armed Forces, reacted to the robbery of historical value.
“The occupier continues to appropriate our history and historical heritage of Ukraine. For the state, this is another cultural loss, it is a consequence of the fact that for all these years no one lifted a finger in the direction of the creation of the Ukrainian pantheon, no one lifted a finger to find it, leaving us no material heritage, as in the case of those separated from the Motherland Hetmans and chieftains. I hate it,” he wrote.
The well-known resort village of Kyrylivka on the Sea of Azov is under occupation. Deserted streets and grayness all around – landscapes that break the heart. The Internet showed a video of what Fedot’s spit and recreation centers look like now.
The author of the video drove through the streets of Kyrylivka to show familiar sights to everyone who misses their native places. Recreation centers “Hellada”, “Brigantyna-2”, “Svit”, “Polesyanka”, “Vodny svit” and others were included in the frame.
Many vacationers have a lot of memories associated with these places.
