Russian army attacks rescuers in Zaporizhzhia while extinguishing a fire

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops attacked rescuers of the State Emergency Service with a drone, who were extinguishing a fire in one of the forestry areas. Four emergency workers were injured as a result of the attack.

According to the State Emergency Service, the Russians struck a UAV while extinguishing a fire in an open area, when the rescuers were performing their duties. While extinguishing a fire in an open area of one of the forestry areas of the region, the Russians struck a UAV at firefighters who were performing their duties.

As a result of the attack, four rescuers received acubarotraumas. In addition, two emergency workers suffered minor shrapnel wounds: one in the arm, the other in the neck.

Doctors provided all the injured with the necessary medical assistance,” the State Emergency Service noted.

Rescuers once again emphasize that Russian troops continue to strike even at emergency services that are eliminating the consequences of shelling and saving the lives of civilians.
