A Russian missile killed a large family near Kryvyi Rih

A Russian missile strike on the Dnipropetrovsk region on July 30 took the lives of the Voronov family with many children. In the village of Radushne near Kryvyi Rih, a missile completely destroyed a private house in which the family lived. According to preliminary data, six people were killed, including four children.

The victims of the attack were 47-year-old Artem Voronov and his 41-year-old wife Olena. Together with them were their children in the house: 17-year-old Mark, 16-year-old Dominika, 14-year-old Viorika, 13-year-old Zakhary, 11-year-old Azariy Ilay, 9-year-old Federika and 7-year-old Emilia.

At the time of the impact, the couple’s one and a half-year-old grandson, the son of the eldest son of the family, who is currently serving in the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, was also in the house.

In addition to the dead, at least eight more people were injured. Several people are still missing. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble, and law enforcement officers are identifying the found body fragments. According to local authorities, the number of confirmed victims may increase after genetic examinations are completed.

Despite the extensive destruction, the family’s dog was pulled alive from under the rubble.

In connection with the tragedy, a day of mourning was declared in Kryvyi Rih on July 31. The head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and noted that all services continue to work at the scene of the tragedy.
