60 strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region: number of dead and wounded announced

On August 3, Russian massive shelling hit several districts of Dnipropetrovsk region at once, causing significant damage to civilian infrastructure and causing new casualties among the civilian population. Russian troops attacked food warehouses in the Dnipro, a fire broke out. In total, more than 60 attacks were carried out.

According to the report of the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha, the Russians used drones, aerial bombs and artillery in the territory of Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of which four people were killed, another 15 were injured of varying severity.

Nikopol district: the communities of Nikopol region – Nikopol, Pokrovska, Marhanetska, Chervonogryhorivska and Myrivska – were under attack. An administrative building, infrastructure facilities, a shop and trucks were damaged there. Four people were injured, including a 33-year-old woman hospitalized in moderate condition.

Synelnyky district: attacks hit the Ukrainska, Petropavlivska, Vasylkivska, and Mykolaivska communities. A farm, a gas station, more than two dozen private homes, and cars were destroyed. A combine harvester was also destroyed. One person died as a result of the shelling.

Kryvyi Rih district: strikes caused the greatest losses in the Shyrokivska, Hrushivska, and Zelenodolska communities. Three people died, including a child. Another 11 people were injured. A gas station, a private home, outbuildings, a car, and a fire station were damaged.

Dnipro district: Russian troops attacked the city of Dnipro and the Slobozhanska community. The strikes captured warehouses and a wheat field.

Three people died in the Shyrokivska community of Kryvyi Rih district, Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of an attack by Russian troops on a gas station. The attack claimed the lives of a State Emergency Service employee and his young son, and six more people were injured to varying degrees of severity.
