17 civilians injured in Kherson region during day as a result of Russian shelling

17 civilians were injured in Kherson region during day on August 5 as a result of Russian shelling. The Russian army attacked the region using drones of various types, all the injured were residents of the regional center.

According to the investigation of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, during August 5, 2026, the Russian army attacked the Kherson region using drones of various types. As of 17:30, it was recorded that 17 people were injured as a result of the consequences of Russian aggression.

All the injured were residents of Kherson, who were injured as a result of Russian attacks using UAVs. The vast majority were hit while traveling by car or bicycle. All the others were on the street or in houses. Among the injured was a nurse from one of the city’s hospitals.

Damage was caused to private and apartment buildings, warehouses, garages, service, cargo, route and passenger vehicles.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes has been launched.
