Five people killed, 16 injured in Russian attacks in Dnipropetrovsk region

On August 6, Russian troops carried out almost 60 attacks on the territory of five districts of Dnipropetrovsk region. Among the dead were two Ukrposhta employees in Pavlohrad. The Russians attacked the region with missiles, UAVs, artillery and aerial bombs. During the shelling of Pavlohrad, an Ukrposhta infrastructure facility was destroyed.

In Pavlohrad, the Russian strike destroyed the local sorting depot. The facility provided logistics for the city and the entire district. Despite the destruction, the company assured that it would not stop serving the population.

“The most painful thing is that this strike took the lives of two employees: Olya and Olya. We sympathize with their families, friends and the entire large Ukrposhta team, which is experiencing this loss,” the company’s CEO said in a statement.

Meanwhile, in the Nikopol region, the Russian Federation struck Nikopol, Chervonogryhorivska, Pokrovska, Myrivska, and Marhanetska communities. Apartment buildings and private houses, an agricultural enterprise, shops, and a bus were damaged. Three people were injured.

In the Synelnyky district, the Petropavlivska, Ukrainska, and Vasylkivska communities were affected. A tractor and farm buildings were destroyed. A combine harvester and about a dozen private houses were damaged.

In the Kamyanskyі district, the Russians targeted the Bozhedarivska and Vyshnivska communities. Infrastructure was damaged. An outbuilding was on fire. Three people died and five were injured.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, the Hrushivska and Zelenodolska communities were hit. One person was injured.
