Russians hit 10-story building in Kharkiv: upper floors destroyed, there are casualties

On the morning of August 9, the Russian army struck the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv. The Russians targeted residential buildings.

According to the report of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, a Russian drone hit a 10-story residential building – floors 7 to 10 were destroyed. Then there was another strike on a neighboring high-rise building.

Two people died as a result of the attack. One person with serious injuries was urgently hospitalized, and doctors are providing all necessary assistance.

People remain trapped in the building – a rescue operation is underway at the scene. All emergency services are working in an intensified mode, despite the constant threat of shelling.

According to the report of the Head of the Emergency Situations Department of the Kharkiv City Council, Bohdan Gladkykh, the number of victims of the attack on Kharkiv has increased to 18.

The State Emergency Service rescuers evacuated 12 people from burning and smoke-filled apartments.

As a result of the massive attack by kamikaze drones on the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv on the night of August 9, the number of injured has increased to 37, including a 5-year-old boy. Two more men aged 50 and 66 died. Five people were taken to a medical facility, one of the injured is in serious condition.
