A 12-year-old child died in the occupied Kherson region after being unable to receive medical care

A 12-year-old child died in the temporarily occupied Holoprystan community of the Kherson region. She needed medical care due to her high temperature, but there was no medical worker or necessary medication in the settlement.

In order for the child to be picked up by an ambulance, she had to be taken to an intersection outside the settlement on her own. The mother did not have such an opportunity.

There are no hospitals or medical centers in the Holoprystan community. There are still some medical workers in the village of Tavriiske, but there is no full-fledged help there.

Nova Zbur’ivka had an ambulance for some time, which was transferred from Holaya Prystan, but they have not been there since 2025. The nearest settlements where you can get at least some medical help are Bekhtery, Zalizny Port, Skadovsk. The nearest hospital is in Skadovsk.

Currently, there are two pharmacies left in the community – in Holaya Prystan and Nova Zbur’ivka, where they sell leftover medicines.
