Combine harvester, car and houses: Russian strikes in Zaporizhzhia leave one dead and one injured

During August 15, Russian troops carried out 1,034 strikes on 55 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

According to the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, police and the State Emergency Service, one person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of Russian attacks.

Residents of Zaporizhzhia district were injured:

Between the villages of Shchaslyve and Kalynivka, an FPV drone hit a combine harvester. A 32-year-old man died.

Matviyivka and Ukrainka. Russian drones attacked two civilian cars. Two men and a woman were injured.

Komyshuvakha, Hryzne and Veselyi Gai. Four more people were injured as a result of strikes by Russian drones.

Novomykolaivka and Viktorivka. Russian troops struck settlements with guided aerial bombs. A 53-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were injured.

In total, the Russians carried out 21 airstrikes, 743 attacks with drones of various modifications and 270 artillery shells during the day.

The police received 28 reports of damage to residential buildings, cars and infrastructure.

According to the State Emergency Service, 12 fires broke out due to Russian shelling. Residential buildings and outbuildings, a hangar with agricultural machinery, a combine harvester, a car, wheat and dry vegetation on an area of ​​​​over 3 hectares were burning.

Rescuers also seized and destroyed 3 explosive devices.

The Russians attacked the Zaporizhzhia region and on the morning of August 16

In the morning, Russian troops continued shelling.

Viktorivka. A guided bomb destroyed a private house. A 66-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman were killed.

Mykhailivske. A house was damaged by an air bomb. A 39-year-old man was injured. The police and the Security Service of Ukraine are documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks. Criminal proceedings have been opened for war crimes committed by the Russian army. Information about the consequences of the shelling is being clarified.
