At night, the Russians struck Sloviansk from the air: fires continued, 22 houses were damaged

On the night of August 16, the Russian army struck Sloviansk with high-explosive air bombs: they hit the residential sector of the city and caused fires. No one was injured.

As a result of the attack, a residential building and an outbuilding at two different addresses caught fire. Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and localized the fires, but work was suspended due to the threat of repeated shelling.

On the night of June 29, a fire and rescue unit in Druzhkivka was under fire, it was hit by an air bomb. No one was injured, but the building and equipment were damaged.

On July 1, the driver of the 62nd state fire and rescue unit, Fedor Haninets, was killed as a result of Russian shelling of the village of Iverske.

On July 3, a Russian drone attacked a fire and rescue unit in Oleksandrivka.

In the early hours of July 6, Russian troops attacked a fire truck with an FPV drone that was on its way to put out a fire in Novodonetske. The transport was damaged, but the people were not.

On July 10, 2026, during a work trip to Kramatorsk, rescuers of the State Emergency Service came under attack from the Russians. The occupiers’ FPV drone hit a firefighter’s vehicle.

Four days later, on July 14, rescue officers came under attack from a drone in Kramatorsk – the drone hit a firefighter’s car. The vehicle caught fire, but the people managed to escape.
