A Honduran citizen who fought for the Russian army was captured in the Sumy region
In the Sumy region, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured a Honduran citizen who fought as part of the Russian army. Citizens of this country had not previously been included in the unit’s exchange fund.
According to available information, Wilson Noel Quintero Guzman agreed to offers of legal high-paying work, but as a result ended up in the ranks of the Russian armed forces. On the spot, he was faced with a lack of proper support and an extremely condescending attitude of the command towards foreigners.
In such conditions, the Honduran citizen, together with his comrades, decided to voluntarily surrender to the Ukrainian military.
During a conversation with officers of the 14th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the prisoner spoke about the recruitment scheme for the Russian army in the countries of Central and South America.
